Maggie's House, home of the Fluvanna Historical Society Archives and Offices

Hours

The Fluvanna Historical Society Archives are open Tuesdays and Wednesdays of each week, 1:00-4:00 p.m.; our archives are also open by appointment.

Our museums are open the Second Sunday of each month June-December 2:00-5:00 p.m., and by appointment.

Cost of Research

Visitors to our archives at Maggie’s House who wish to do their own research may do so free of charge.

When we are conducting research for others, the first hour is free; there will be a $25 fee for each additional two hours of research. We will email those requesting research to confirm that they wish for us to proceed. The Society cannot guarantee that research will be successful; the research fee is non-refundable.

If we will be printing off copies of documents and mailing them to you (rather than sending digital files), there will be an additional expense to cover the costs of copies and postage.

If you wish us to perform research for you, click here to complete a request form. We will contact you to confirm before proceeding with any research.
